Bringing October to an end

We have a short week of school this week, as Thurs and Fri and parent/teacer conferences. Nate has straight A's again this year, so we are very proud of him. He's got a tough schedule and has really worked hard his first year in HS while keeping busy with his social life! He has decided to go Elk hunting with Mark and his buddies, so I think Mark is really looking forward to their time together. The rest of the boys and I are staying home to go trick-or-treating with some friends. We should have fun as the weather looks great this year. Football has ended, Reese's last soccer game is sat. Next week we have signups for basketball, Tyler starts fencing and Nate will continue his tennis. We have had a great fall, and a great start to the school year. I can tell that the boys are gettting ready for skiing...with Mark getting new skies this year, Nate getting a new snowboard and boots and Tyler deciding to move from skiing to try snowboarding this winter. Tyler is a natural at skiing, with doing black diamonds like his first winter out. Unafraid to try any course, or jump for that matter! So we will see when he tries the snowboard if he becomes frustrated with slowing down a bit or will he be a natural at that and fly down???!Can't wait for the snow to begin, its always so refreshing and peaceful on the ski lifts:)
